Hill Day dates and venues have been secured for
February 25-26, 2015 for the 4th Annual Hill Day
event. New congressional committee assignments
and new elected officials will be reviewed. IAR mem-
ber will be called upon to make personal contact with
existing and newly elected officials to make them
aware of our upcoming event. An invitation to break-
fast should be extended. The Board meeting will be
held on February 25, 2015 from 3-5 pm. A discounted
room rate of $164 at the Embassy Suites on Locust
Street in Des Moines is available. We will take a
break from 5-7 pm to enjoy the hotel’s managers re-
ception and then reconvene from 7-11 pm for a PAC
reception fundraiser. Sponsorships are available for
the fundraiser. All members are encourage to come
out for the reception even not attending the Hill Day
event at the capitol.
