Although the museum is now gone the love of antique trucks endures. Lloyd

has also spent a great deal of time and money making sure other folks can

enjoy those truck as much as he did.

1930 Studebaker Donated to the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum.

The Iowa 80

Trucking Museum in Walcott, Iowa was the recipient of a very generous do-

nation. Lloyd & Margaret Van Horn, Mason City, Iowa, donated their 1930

Studebaker truck in 2009. “I wanted to make sure that the truck was well tak-

en care of and would be shared with the general public,” says Lloyd Van

Horn. “I knew that the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum was the right place.”

Van Horn’s flatbed loaded with this very immaculate antique truck. I had no idea it was the

Studebaker on its way to its new home at the truck stop musuem. This is first I’ve shared the

picture with Lloyd.”
